We need passenger loads for OA. The smiley faces on flyzed aren’t cutting it. Thanks!
Sania,
Thank you for the comment. We totally agree. Providing loads for the OA flights is at the top of our priority list. I’ll tell you though it will be a tough climb.
The faces of flyzed for want of a better phrase are actually quite good and a lot better than what we have for other carriers who does not provide an online service. Typically, if the face is red, you should really try another routing; if yellow, you can chance if you really have to go. As you know there are always no show. I’ve had really good luck with the flyzed flights. Just last weekend I aborted a trip to Vilnius as the faces were red in both directions out of FRA and there was only one flight choice .
The missing element on flyzed though is that you don’t know where you are on the list and how many are on the list. We are going to try to open some dialogue with them to see what can be done to improve this very valuable service.
Again, thank you for your comment and your support. Keep the comments coming.
Anyone out there has any tips on reading the faces of flyzed?

Message boards! Please bring back the message boards! And a nonrev travel wiki that we can all update and edit. That would be especially handy for travel destinations, discounts, food recommendations, best routings and time to go, etc.
We can discuss all over our laptops and a beer upon your return from your latest secret destination.
I’d like to see it free of the spyware and bots that constantly plague the site. I love Passrider, but can’t use it anymore because it is easily the most contaminated site I attempt to visit.
Hiya,
I can’t agree with you more. We are doing our best to make the site safe for your use. Please bear with us as we work through the growing pains. We appreciate your patronage.

I tried using the “contact us” link on passrider, but its Tango Uniform.

I would like to see a direct link to the airlines listed on the results page, so we may directly check the loads on the airline site.
It is quite cumbersome to have to open a new window, look for the airline address and fill out all of the information again.
Looks great!
Thanks Erin, getting access to loads is something we are looking into.
We do not have a timeframe for completion just yet though.

Being able to email our search results would be a great feature as well.
It would be handy to have the list of flights I had previously looked up in the palm of my hands in the event I am stuck in an airport (without a printer) and need an alternative flight to get to where I need to go.
That way I don’t have to log onto the site every time I am bumped and re-enter all of my information.
I have a very, very slow phone!
I would like to be able to choose a city and see all the flights/cities you can fly to direct from there.
Thanks,
DB
Hi David,
Thank you for the comments.
Great suggestion and something that we are working on providing in the near future.

I would like to see some help feature on how to use the Flight Scheduler.
Is there a wasy to simplify the interpretation of the results page, by adding a column of info which discloses who the flight is actually operated by, if the result shown is only a codeshare?
For example, recently trying to plan my trip from ORD-DEN I was initially excited to see 2 others airlines with similar flights… only later after clicking on the little (info) button I found that they were actually all the same flight, code shared up the waazoo… see below:
(i)_ORD_11:55am_DEN__1:37pm___2h42m___United_757_G__320
(i)_ORD_11:55am_DEN__1:37pm___2h42m___Continen_6615_G__320

Another time in NY trying to commute home, I looked up to see a late night JFK-ORD on Delta. I took the train over to the Delta terminal, only to find out it was a Delta ‘Express’ flight operated by Com Air, which we don’t have an open seat agreement on! I had to quickly jump in a yellow cab to LGA, in order to catch the last flight out on AA, or else end up spending the night on an airport bench.
So you see the dilemas…
Or even if you eliminated the codeshare results lines all together… that would reduce the overwhelming amount of data that comes up in a search. The bottom line should be what airline is actually ‘operating’ the flight.
Thanks!
Thank you for your comment..
You are indeed correct Terry. This is something we are working on improving. Not sure if we can place the operated by on the front page though, you may still have to click on the (i) to see that.

How about an iPhone app? That’d be excellent!

How about an area for those wishing to trade non-revenue OAL passes (prize letters) which are aquired occasionally through airline function drawings and raffles?
Thanks for considering!
As a pilot with a 2 leg commute I wouldn’t mind seeing connections to an airline not associated with the first airline. For example, United to ORD connecting with American to the destination.
One thing that has always bothered me was how so many flights are duplicated in the results due to codeshare agreements. Sometimes there are 3-4 listings of the same flight. It just makes going through the results tedious. If I pull up ORD-ATL for example, I want JUST the flight number and airline that’s operating it. I don’t care about the codeshare – it just makes it harder to read.
Great articles. There’s a lot of nice information here, though I did want to let you know something, I’m running Redhat with the up-to-date beta of Firefox, and the design of your site is kind of wonky for me. I can read the articles, but the navigation doesn’t function so well.
I absolutely love this site..its very helpful!! Some ideas that would make it my one stop shop?
-if when searching for a route, it would pull up connections on multiple airlines. IE, a route from FLL to CVG could consist of FLL-RIC on jetblue and RIC-CVG on Delta, so on and so forth. This would be fantastic!!
-if there was a way to pull up/download timetables for the airlines by month, or even day/week.
Thanks for all the help your site already provides!!!
